I stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, offering a fantastic view of The Shard and the railway lines entering Waterloo station, like looking down on a full-size train set. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, even bringing a cake to our room. However, the service at the reception desk was poor. The location was very convenient, with easy access to the subway station and in walking distance to Borough Market and the river. The dining options were varied with many choices. Overall, a great stay with some minor drawbacks.
